Web 2.0

During the next few weeks ill be doing an assignment on Web 2.0. It will be published on this site, in the form of a blog.
It will look into the creation of Web 2.0, including ipods, Flickr, Bluetooth, My Space and many more.

Web 2.0 definition according to Tim O’Reilly:

“Web 2.0 is the business revolution in the computer industry caused by the move to the internet as platform, and an attempt to understand the rules for success on that new platform. Chief among those rules is this: Build applications that harness network effects to get better the more people use them.“

Abit About Web 2.0:
Web 2.0 is the new and improved form of the World Wide Web. Its what the 2nd generation of web-based tecnology services is most commonly known as. This service has one very beig difference compared to Web 1.0. The ability for its users to add to and change information; to contribute to the internet and share your knowledge. A few years ago this could have only been dreamed about for this is a fairly new tecnology.
